As a company, established in 1976, we use ONLY licensed London taxi drivers who drive licensed taxis and are qualified and registered professional guides. All our guides are either Blue Badge or City of London qualified guides who delight in sharing their vast historical knowledge to entertain and enlighten you as no guidebook can do.

The first Capital Taxi Tours guide started guiding people around London and the countryside 26 years ago, so it is long established and very experienced at what it does.  All our guides are members of The Guide Lecturers Association and members of The Institute of Guiding, and several are also recognised as Freeman of the City of London.
 
 

What Does It Cost?

The prices quoted are per taxi NOT per person, and we can accommodate 5 people per vehicle. Prices DO include all taxi and guide expenses and tax, but DO NOT include any entrance fees, parking fees or meals.

Gratuities for our Guides are given at your discretion.
