We visit the ancient university city of Cambridge with its college buildings of different architectural designs.
We visit the half timbered Queens College and the gothic style Kings College.
We combine our day by traveling on to Duxford, the former Royal Air Force base and US Air Force fighter base. Here we explore the collection of over 140 historical aircraft from Spitfires to Concorde.
We see the American air force museum and the exhibition of American air power.

Canterbury & Leeds Castle 1 Day Tour
First stop Canterbury, the traditional home of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The city itself dates back to Roman times and still has a fine medieval wall. In 1170 Thomas 'A' Becket was killed in the cathedral and canonised shortly after, and his shrine became a place for pilgrims to travel.
After lunch we head for Leeds Castle, to what is known as "the most beautiful castle in the world" and originally built in 857 A.D. in wood. We trace its history to stone by the Normans in 1119 and view the fine collection of impressionists paintings, also visiting the aviary, Culpepper flower garden and maze

Hever Castle & Chartwell 1 Day Tour
Set in the heart of Kent we find Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, where you can explore the castle then walk around the award winning gardens. The Rose and Tudor gardens are a must to visit, along with the yew maze and a 35 acre lake.
From Hever castle our tour continues on to Chartwell, the family home of Winston Churchill, where you will find Churchill memorabilia, fine gardens and magnificent views.

Lake District 2 Day Tour
Arriving in the Lake District area we make our way to the world of Beatrix Potter.
This is followed by lunch on the shores of Lake Windermere, where we visit the home of Beatrix Potter and then take a cruise on Coniston Water.
The following day is spent touring around Yewdale, Langdale Valley and Grassmere.
We also visit Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth, before heading back towards London.

Oxford & Blenheim Palace 1 Day Tour
First to Oxford, home of the famous university and "city of dreaming spires".
We then drive on to the churchyard at Bladon where Winston Churchill is buried.
Leaving Bladon behind us we travel into the Cotswolds, admiring the countryside and stopping for lunch.
After lunch we drive to Blenheim Palace, home to the 11th Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Winston Churchill. Built between 1705-1722, Blenheim boasts over 2,100 acres of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown. You can visit the state rooms and the 183 foot long library which contains 10,000 volumes and a four manual Willis organ.

Saxon England died with King Harold at Battle on October 14th 1066. You can visit the exact spot where he fell, and wander around Battle Abbey.

We leave London and make our way into Kent the "Garden of England" to arrive at our stop Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens. Created within the ruins of an ancient castle by the late Vita Sackville West and her husband Harold Nicholson, the area is made up of a series of small, enclosed, romantic gardens, each with its own colour scheme, the highlight being the white garden that blooms in high summer.
Leaving Sissinghurst we travel to Leeds Castle which is built on two islands within a lake and is renowned for its magnificent gardens.
There is also a superb collection of medieval furnishings, tapestries, and classical art

Stonehenge & Bath 1 Day Tour
We visit the most important pre-historic monument in Britain, Stonehenge, where you will see 50 ton, ancient stones that date back over 3000 years and discuss the theories of how they got there and what they are.
From here we drive onto Bath, a Roman city that was revived by Georgian society in the 18th century, where you will be able to explore the Roman baths, Bath Abbey, and Pultney Bridge - there will also be time for some shopping in the antique and craft shops!

Warwick Castle, situated on the banks of the Avon was built by William the Conqueror in 1068. We visit the state rooms, dungeons, and the gardens laid out by "Capability Brown".
From Warwick we head to Stratford Upon Avon, a market town steeped in history and the birthplace of Shakespeare in 1564. We visit the very house he was born in, then carry on to new place , halls croft, Anne Hathaway's cottage, and finally Mary Arden's house.
Leaving Stratford behind we wind our way through the Cotswolds to Oxford and visit one of the oldest universities in Britain before heading back to London.

Windsor Castle, Runnymede & Hampton Court Palace 1 Day Tour
We visit the world's largest fully occupied castle and see the state rooms, when available, and treasures including art by Rembrandt. We visit the gardens, St Georges Chapel, except Sundays, and the tombs of Charles I, George III and Henry VIII.
From Windsor we journey through old Windsor and Windsor Great Park to the one-time island of Runnymede, where in 1215 King John sealed the Magna Carta.
From Runnymede we travel to Hampton Court, which lies on the river Thames. This famous palace was built by Cardinal Wolsey and given to Henry VIII. Here we visit the state apartments and the marvelous, traditional gardens laid out in the 17th century.

Wedgewood Factory 1 Day Tour
Our tour takes us north to the Wedgewood factory where, on arrival, you can listen to the Wedgewood story, followed by a tour around the factory floor.

We travel from London through countryside to York, the city of magical charm and beauty, famous for its Minster, Roman remains, and city walls.
We shall see them all, study the city's 2000 year history and its marvel and it's outstanding architecture.
This tour can be taken over a 2 day period, at a much more leisurely pace.
King Authur's Round Table 1 Day Tour (Depart from hotel 7am)
We travel cross country to Glastonbury where we embark on our quest to seek and find Arthur. Enjoy breathtaking views from the wonderful fabled Isle of Avalon. We explore the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey and hear the stories that surround the place. We explore the medieval town centre including visiting the tranquil Chalice Well Gardens. This site is the reputed burial place of the Holy Grail. You can take a drink from the Red Spring.
From here we head off to visit Stonehenge, can you solve its mystery? After Stonehenge its on to our last stop Winchester. Home to the Round Table or not we hear about more Arthurian legend.

Leaving London we drive into Kent the garden of England to Canterbury. Walking the route of the Old Pilgrims through the ancient walled city we visit the famous Cathedral.
Dover or Leeds Castle is our next stop, you choose. Dover, home of the white cliffs and the medieval Castle, Roman Barbican and world war II relics all in one area. Leeds Castle, fairy tale Castle built on a lake set in 500 acres of land. Once a Saxon Manor , the castle was started in the 12thCentury. Frequently visited by Henry VIII.
